Louisville 2600 Call to Order
Okay so the last couple of meetings have been a real drag. Unfortunately as I have stated before I am no benevolent leader and I don't have the time to lead, schedule everything for the group. I am capable to help organize and keep things moving, but we do need some help with topics, and getting people committed to coming to each meeting.
The last couple we have had little to no turn out, so for the next meeting which will be December 4th I would like as many as possible to turn out to the Highlands Coffee Shop on Bardstown Road at 6:30 pm. We will try to discuss some of the latest issues in technology for instance perhaps the new WPA breaks that have been announced as well as perhaps an overview on Bruce Schneier and company's new Skein hashing algorithm in the hat to replace SHA.
These are just a couple of ideas in my head as I am writing this, so please feel free to post comments on anything you would like to see discussed or done. Also as is tradition for the Louisville group, we don't have TOPIC's, but rather group discussion and show and tell's. This obviously can change, but it definitely keeps things more anarchic.
So to recap, the next meeting is December 4th, 2008 at the Highland Coffee on Bardstown Road at 6:30pm.
